RecruitingAwards.com is announcing the second annual award and recognition program for the recruiting industry. The Recruiting Awards are unique because the judging panel is comprised of peers who occupy HR Leadership positions, not industry analysts or pundits. The program further distinguishes itself by combining crowdsourced voting on their website with attendee voting for participants of The Recruiting Conference where the winners will be announced live on October 15, 2012.

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) September 17, 2012 — “We’re excited to announce the second annual Recruiting Awards program. Our awards are unique due to their multi-faceted nomination and voting process that emphasize the voices of practicing recruiting and HR experts.” said Jason Buss, himself a senior Talent Management Leader, editor and author of TalentHQ.com and the organizer of The 2012 Recruiting Awards.”

Awards
Three awards will comprise the 2012 Recruiting Awards: Talent Hunter, Recruiting Innovation and Recruiting Organization. The inaugural awards will be presented on October 15, 2012 at The Recruiting Conference in Las Vegas.

Selection process
Winners will be selected via three phases of judging. A crowdsourcing component, a panel of recruiting practitioner judges and finally, the conference attendees.

Prizes
Winners of the Talent Hunter and Recruiting Innovation Awards will receive an Apple iPad 3 and The Recruiting Organization team will share a $500 gift card for a team celebration. Winners in each of the three categories will also receive a trophy.

Recruitment Expert Shally Steckerl Headlines October Event

Peterborough, NH – July 25, 2012 – Recruiting Trends, a leading resource for the employee recruitment industry, will host a fall Sourcing Summit at the Recruiting Trends Conference, which takes place Oct. 14-17 in Las Vegas.

The Sourcing Summit, a day dedicated to sharing the latest tools, techniques, tips, and tricks in candidate sourcing, takes place Oct. 17.

Globally recognized recruiting leader Shally Steckerl, founder of 4SCT, kicks off the Sourcing Summit with a keynote address, “Boolean Search Is Outdated, Forget About It! The Most Powerful Search Engines Are Ones You Custom-Build for Yourself.”

Steckerl has helped build sourcing organizations for top companies, including Microsoft, Google, Coca-Cola, Cisco, and Motorola. He now advises recruiting leaders at organizations like CH2M Hill, GE, Lockheed, and SourceRight how to successfully embed key sourcing initiatives into their current efforts, improve the performance of their existing sourcing teams, and establish sourcing functions from the ground up.

Passionate about encouraging people to experiment in their search for talent and color outside the lines with audacity, Steckerl is obsessed with sourcing and continuously strives to probe for practical solutions where no one else has looked. As a result, he has gained a reputation for delivering the courage recruiting leaders need to walk the edge to success in today’s over-informed world.

The Sourcing Summit also features presentations by Carmen Hudson, engagement manager, sourcing and social media, Recruiting Toolbox; Shannon Van Curen, trainer and recruiting specialist, AIRS; and Nicole Strecker, managing director, STA Worldwide; among others.

The Recruiting Conference Rebranded as Recruiting Trends Conference

Peterborough, NH – June 13, 2012 – Recruiting Trends, a leading resource for the employee recruitment industry, will hold its annual conference in Las Vegas, Oct. 14-17. Attendees then select who, from among the presenters, they wish to learn more and meet with them Day Two in workshops and consultative sessions.

This year’s event also features a pre-conference agenda, which includes the TrendSetters™ presentation, a one-of-a-kind learning opportunity where attendees will discover new technologies to enhance their recruiting performance. The conference concludes with The Sourcing Summit, a day dedicated to exploring the latest techniques in candidate sourcing.

In connection with its rebranding, Recruiting Trends has launched a new conference website where additional details may be found, including exhibitor and sponsor information.

“The new Recruiting Trends Conference builds on a brand with a 42-year history,” says RD Whitney, CEO of Recruiting Trends. “Our new look reflects our commitment to the industry and our plans for growth.”

“This year’s Recruiting Trends Conference has it all – excellent speakers, engaging format, incredible venue, and a lot of interest on the part of sponsors and exhibitors,” says Anna Brekka, Director of Recruiting Trends. “We look forward to a very successful event.”
